About Xenia
As a mom of 2 teens, my initial drive in learning about health and nutrition was to teach my kids the importance of what we put in our bodies. As I embarked in my education and certification to become a Health Coach, it became obvious to me that I needed to make this journey about me first.
I learned that health is more than just the food we eat. We need to feel nourished in other aspects of our lives such as in our relationships, our social life, how much we move and exercise daily, how fulfilled we are in our career, and our spirituality (how connected we feel). The truth is that you can eat all the kale in the world, but your health will suffer if you are chronically stressed or unhappy.
I believe it's the little things you do everyday to take care of yourself physically and mentally that make the biggest impact on your health and how you show up for yourself and others.
My background
I am a certified Holistic Health Coach, graduate in 2019 from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), the leading school of nutrition and health coaching based in New York. Among many things, I learned about Holistic Health, how the body can heal itself and diverse dietary theories from ancient Eastern traditions to modern Western medicine. I had experts and thought leaders in the fields of nutrition, health and wellness as my teachers such as Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Andrew Weil, and Deepak Chopra. In addition, I took advanced courses at IIN for Gut Health and Hormone Health.

I also have a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal and worked in the software industry for 19 years.
I always had a strong interest in health and nutrition. Changing careers has allowed me to pursue my passion for health and helping others.
